Ms Burnett graduated from the University of Keele in English Literature and Educational Studies in 2008. Since completing her degree, she has been dedicated to her professional development in Senior Leadership and has since completed her NPQSL and is currently studying for her Headship Qualification. Passionate about leadership, English and student-wellbeing, Ms Burnett can often be found reading the latest research on mental health in education. 

This year marks Ms Burnett’s 12th year in Cairo having worked previously at El Alsson and Malvern College Egypt. Dedicated to providing the best pastoral care for her students, Ms Burnett leads the Secondary School’s successful pastoral team and is the Designated Safeguarding Lead here at NCBIS.
